So, Pepsi came out with a special flavor in time for summer, and it’s Pepsi Fire.
What is Pepsi Fire? It’s a cinnamon flavored Pepsi and it came out this week. I myself have been wanting to review it for weeks now and today is that day.
If the name of the product looks familiar or the branding, it may be because 7-Eleven recently came out with a Pepsi Fire Slurpee flavor in its stores prior to the beverage’s unveiling. This beverage will be available until the end of June, possibly later depending on where it’s available.
I will say this,I absolutely love cinnamon. It’s probably the best spice to ever exist. It makes a lot of things taste much better. You name it,cinnamon makes it better. Hell,I had cinnamon in my coffee while visiting family last weekend and it was amazing. If anything,we don’t have enough cinnamon-infused products in this country. I think that should change.
A lot of people are saying it’s basically a non-alcoholic version of Fireball, the popular cinnamon-flavored whiskey. I’ll have to take their word for it since I’m a teetotalist.
Having had the Slurpee and having liked it very much so, I found a store a few miles away from my house and bought a couple of bottles. I opened one and tried it. It’s actually not bad. I don’t think it has a whole lot of cinnamon punch, but the after taste from having a sip does linger for a bit, which to this cinnamon lover isn’t a bad thing.
I will say this in all honesty, this is more than likely not something everyone is going to like. If you’re not a cinnamon person, this isn’t for you. If you are, you may like it, you may not.
I did,and I’m giving it a Thumbs Up!
I’d like to try it because I AM a cinnamon-flavor lover but Pepsi? Bleech!
Yay! Thanks for the review. Now I’m interested in trying it too! I like the thought of the cinnamon flavor lingering, sounds yummy. I also think cinnamon is a wonderful thing. I mean who doesn’t like cinnamon toast, pumpkin pie is yummy, and snickerdoodles wouldn’t be without it!
Great review-always enjoy your writing!
