Welcome back to our countdown of The Things That Need to go in 2021. This is a collection of the trends, people, phrases,and anything else you can think of that need to go when we arrive at,hopefully,a better new year. This is Part Three of our countdown where we will reveal items 60-41 of the list. 

Disclaimer: This list is for entertainment purposes and is meant to be taken semi-seriously, so keep that in mind when you read the list. We’re just trying to have fun here!

60. Dad sneakers

Second year selection

Part Three begins with a set of sneakers that do not look good whatsoever and I am seeing people who aren’t dads wearing these. Yikes!

It didn’t bother me when these were just relegated to dads who wore these when barbecuing or mowing the lawn while wearing super duper high socks with them and they were purchased at Big 5 for pretty cheap, but now that I am seeing the youths rocking these, I have to have this on the list.

Also,they’re too touristy. They look like they belong to someone who is trying to find Space Mountain when they’re all the way in Frontierland and looking all sorts of lost. All I’m saying is there are way better looking shoes to get than these.

59. Fake free speech advocates

First year selection

One of my pet peeves is when someone says they’re for free speech,but when they say that they really mean only for them and people who think and feel the same way they do,and it’s on both sides.

Liberals hate it when the other side shows up on a college campus to speak. Conservatives hate it when liberals say anything ever. I,however, am a real free speech advocate who thinks everyone should be able to say whatever they want, not without consequence,of course, but when you advocate for free speech and don’t mean it,it makes you a hypocrite.

58. Shoe-free households

This has made the list again and it’s because of one thing,me not being able to be without my shoes when I am at someone else’s house. I know it’s weird, but I don’t feel comfortable without shoes on when I am out. It’s something that I have to work through.

Nonetheless, I have a feeling that not that much dirt is being brought in when I enter the house. Plus, if you got a doormat outside the front door, there’s nothing to really worry about,fam. We good! 

57. Boycotts of outrage

Third year selection

This item made the list and moved back only one slot from last year. While this doesn’t happen as much as it used to, it still does where people get butthurt over something that someone did and as a result won’t buy something from somewhere and if they already did, they do the dumb thing and burn in it in an attempt to get attention from anyone who will give it to them,voluntarily or not.

Newsflash for you,fam, they already have your money. You’re not showing them anything. If anything, you’re acting like a fool when you do this. Also,nobody cares about your outrage boycott. There are way better things to care about that for sure. Also,stop crying so much over who hurt your feelings when it comes to that kinda stuff. Get a life and get over it!

56. Tomi Lahren

Fifth year selection

Tammy Lasagna is back on our list for the fifth straight year and moved up one notch from last year. She continues to drink the Fox News Kool-Aid and licks Trump’s boots no matter what he does (well,almost everything he does, she did come out against war in Syria,which was smart) and she also put out those dumb yoga pants that have a stupid gun holster (which we talked about earlier in the countdown) so you can accidentally shoot yourself while doing a cobra pose. 

I really want her 15 minutes of fame to be up soon now that her President is leaving. My pipe dream is that she ends up as a cashier at Zaxby’s once her looks start to fade, but people like her always resurface and become terrible somewhere else so I don’t think it will happen,but a man can dream,right?

55. Fake homeless people

It’s bad enough that actual homeless people exist and that shouldn’t be a thing,either, but when people are faking having nothing and hustling unsuspecting people for their generosity it makes it even worse.

It’s hard for the homeless are trying to survive any which way they can,but now they’ve got fake competition? It’s an outrage! These are people who,when they are done with their hustle, drive off in their Mercedes and collect what they “earned” from you and me. Those folks need to go and they need to give what they stole from the kindness of people’s hearts to charity.

54. Chuck Todd

Second year selection

The man who Kyle Kulinski calls human oatmeal (I won’t because that’s insulting to oatmeal), Chuck Todd is back on our countdown.

Not only is he a horrible Sunday show host,but he is soft on the same six people he brings on his show every week and never asks them any hard hitting questions. Not only that,but he craps on progressives any chance he gets,just like his bosses at MSDNC News want him to do. Not only that,but he never covers issues that matter in this country to most people.

He’s been so bad at his job that there have been others like Nicole Wallace who have been floated to replace him on Meet the Press, but for now Todd still has the job even though he shouldn’t. He just sucks. On that show, moderating debates and covering politics overall. Tim Russert has to be rolling in his grave knowing that Chuck Todd is sitting in his seat not taking care of television’s oldest program in the way he should be.

53. City girls who call themselves country despite not having spent any time there

After a three year hiatus this is back on the list. Why? Because even after it’s left the list, I find it laughable whenever a “country girl” claims to have Southern pride even though she’s from the San Francisco Bay Area and has never lived or even been to the South.

Just because you bought a pair of boots to wear at a Chris Stapleton concert and have a second place participation trophy and drive a lifted truck doesn’t make you a country girl. You’re from the city, own it! 

Just like someone from Granite Bay isn’t ghetto,someone from Martinez isn’t a country girl. It’s just how it works,period. You wanna be a country girl with Southern pride? Move there! 

By the way, I’m all about the city girls!

52. The phrase “cool beans”

Fifth year selection

I have for years hated this phrase and it still makes me cringe every time I hear it. It began with a friend of mine who was in the same youth group as me who hated the phrase and that hatred rubbed off to me for that phrase as well.

I also have to wonder where the phrase came from. Why does it exist? Why is it ever said around me? Also, who enjoys cold beans? That’s a little gross!

Anyways, this phrase needs to go. However, if it’s said to or around me next year, it will be back on the list.

51. The L.A. Rams’ new logo and uniforms

First year selection

If there was a bad uniform change this year,it belongs to the Los Angeles Rams. First off, the logo is terrible with the horn growing from the A of the logo.

Secondly, the logo looks so generic, as if a video game wasn’t able to get the rights to the real Rams logo and put this one up instead. Also,the alternate logo of the Rams’ head is poorly drawn. It’s almost as if they had a better depiction of ram’s head as their logo previously and they would’ve been better off recoloring it and using it. Oh,wait they did and they could’ve!

Not to be outdone, the uniforms don’t look that great,either. The horns on the side of the helmet suck and the giant numbers make the jersey look cartoonish. Also, what is up with the team name on the left chest of the jersey? Why is it there? We know who the team is! 

In my opinion the Rams will realize they made a mistake with these and in a few years they will be replaced with something that’s retro-inspired and lauded by most,if not all. But why wait for then? Get rid of these now!

50.CATCH-ALL: Tiny paper clips and Tiny Post-it notes

We are halfway through them countdown now and having said that, I have just begun working in an office for my ninth year and over time there are many things that don’t belong in an office and tiny paper clips are one of them. Not only are they the garbage of paper clips,but there is absolutely nobody that wants to use them. Anytime I get them I exchange them out for bigger ones. We absolutely need to stop producing these forever.

Not to be outdone,why do we need tiny Post-it notes? Is there a need for these? Who needs a Post-it note that tiny? What are you going to write on those? We absolutely do not need notes this tiny at all. I think we need to eliminate tiny office supplies that aren’t staples overall. Go big or go home!

49. Columbus Day

I am amazed this hasn’t made the list yet,but it’s here! Columbus Day is, first of all, overrated because I don’t get the day off and neither does anyone at school. Also, it’s celebrating a racist genocidal man who robbed people of their land,practiced barbaric slavery and rape incest. Not only that,but the dude never discovered America despite the crap they taught you in third grade that says otherwise. He discovered the land we know today as Haiti and I doubt they celebrate that dude and what he did to their people.

I would rather us have the first Tuesday off in November so everyone can vote in lieu of some random Monday in October celebrating a monster like Columbus. This so-called “holiday” gotta go.

48. CATCH-ALL: Tom Perez and the Democratic National Committee

While this is a catch-all, these two really do go together as Perez is the terrible leader of the terrible organization that is the Democratic National Committee. You know the ones, the people who eschew progressive policies in order to try and appeal to moderates,centrists,and never Trump Republicans only to have it blow up in their faces time and time again. Tom Perez and his cronies have made every stride possible to make sure this party continues to never change anything and maintain the status quo as well as refuse to adopt any sort of policy that, god forbid,would actually help the American people.

Thank goodness I don’t belong to this party anymore because their policies don’t align with mine very much at all. They’re supposed to,but since they avoid change like the plague, I made a choice to leave back in 2016 and I have yet to regret it or let anyone shame me for that choice. These guys never learn their lessons and they keep getting smoked in elections. Ask the Senate and the House how things went on election night down the ballot. Actually,never mind on that, they’re going to lie about that,too, much like they do when they offer platitudes and cliches instead of policy and change. 

47. People who can’t place their disposable masks in the trash

I hope this is the only year an item like this makes our countdown and let me be clear, all littering is bad,but the thing I see most littered are the one thing that Republicans don’t like to wear.

I get it, masks are uncomfortable, it’s not fun to wear one. I agree with that as someone who can’t see when wearing one with his glasses and has been unable to wear contacts for relief. But if you can’t place the one you’re wearing temporarily in the garbage, you have problems. 

This pandemic sucks. Nobody wants things to go back to normal more than me. But let’s be rational people here. Wear a mask and when you’re done with it, dispose of it properly. The ground isn’t that place!

46. People who don’t match their socks

Ninth year selection

Nothing screams continuous immaturity like someone who can’t do something as simple as match their own socks. This isn’t that hard to do,fam!

I consider it a promotion of laziness and just plain giving up on how you should be looking. When I was growing up if you had socks that weren’t a match, you got laughed at by everyone. It doesn’t take that much effort to get a match for your socks. I can do it and I am almost 39.

There’s a reason for this to make the list for the ninth year and it may make its 10th list if it continues.

45. Chunky peanut butter

Second year selection

This is an item that made the last list for the first time and honestly, it should have made the list a lot more than it has.

I love peanut butter just as much as the next person,but I don’t want to have it as the whole meal as others do. 

Not only is it difficult to chew, but it also doesn’t spread well at all. There is only one viable kind of peanut butter-creamy. That’s it! The rest of them have no true place in society. It’s just gross, let’s move on to #44 now!

44. CATCH-ALL: Wishing George W. Bush was President again and rehabilitating awful Republicans like him and John Bolton

Can we please stop trying to rehabilitate George W. Bush? Also, can we not wish for him to be President again? Have you people lost your damn minds?

Bush was an awful President who started two endless wars we’re never going to get out of, his time in office ended with a recession that cost me my job in 2008 and took me nearly five years to recover from, he was stupid, and he is a war criminal who should be in jail, not in a friendly hug from Michelle Obama. I don’t care that he was better with decorum than Trump, they both had the same policy positions that have made this country worse. I don’t know why,for the life of me,why anyone would have any fondness for him and his time in office. I guess folks have short term memories when it comes to awful 21st Century presidents.

As for John Bolton, I don’t know why the left is suddenly legitimizing him only because he wrote a book saying how bad Trump is. Bolton is just as bad himself with never meeting a war he didn’t like, he was okay with torture,and when Trump hired him he was expecting the same guy he was when he worked for Bush. Oops! Nevertheless, Bolton does not need to be rehabilitated by the left or anyone for that matter. Both of these men disgust me!

43. Task forces

I think this might just qualify as a Keepin’ it Real selection for the list here for this simple explanation: Task forces are useless.

From the Coronavirus task force led by the most emotionless person I have ever seen in Mike Pence to the Unity Task Force that the Biden campaign had that placated the left like they always do, it’s my belief that there is no need to have a task force for anything ever again. What’s the point? They don’t ever get anything done as evidenced by the Pence-led task force and insult many like the unity task force achieved with the progressive left.

You can disagree with this and make any sort of argument you want to try and change my mind, but you’re not going to. These are stupid and the next time I hear about a task force to solve something, I already know it’s not going to work. They never do!

42. People who mow down protestors

Second year selection

Protests for racial justice broke out throughout the country this year and many took place in the streets which drew the ire of many who either didn’t care for their protests or hated seeing the roadways blocked. I understand the frustration of the latter and am sympathetic to folks who need to get places. What I don’t condone is running these people over. It’s not okay to run anyone over,it’s against the law, it’s called vehicular manslaughter if you kill someone. 

Not only that, but there are laws protecting people who kill someone by running them over with their car if they’re protesting. That’s not only illegal,but taking away someone else’s first amendment rights by having such laws. You don’t like someone protesting in the street? Find an alternate route!

41. Bill Maher

Fourth year selection

We end Part Three with everyone’s favorite out of touch limousine liberal who loves nothing more than to crap on progressives and their policies.

If you could place a picture in the dictionary next to the word sellout, this guy’s picture should be on it. This guy used to be one who was on the side of people like me who want things like healthcare for everybody and ending the wars, now he’s so rich he doesn’t care about any of that anymore and he shames anyone who dares to vote differently (more on vote shaming later on in the countdown).

He doesn’t care if you want things to change because he himself has so much money that if nothing changed at all,he’d be fine. His holier than thou smug and elitist attitude on his show is absolutely nauseating and I’m pretty glad I got to see the prick he really is and it makes me glad I don’t associate with the “I just want to go back to brunch” crowd he and his followers live in. Maybe if he lived in my world he would feel differently, but since he lives in his own little rich people bubble, he doesn’t get it and never will at this point.
