Yesterday, the NHL’s 31st and newest team unveiled their uniforms that their players will be wearing when they open their inaugural season at T-Mobile Arena this October. They were unveiled before the Vegas Golden Knights hold their expansion draft today, where the team will have their pick of many unprotected players on 30 NHL clubs to make up the bulk of their roster.
Those players will be wearing these uniforms:
The home jersey is in their greenish-gray color with their alternate logo on the shoulder, the numerals in white with gold trim on the back and on the sleeves in the black portion. The sleeves are adorned with black, gold, and red striping and accents. The waist has a gold stripe on top of a black bar.
The away jersey is white in color, just like every NHL team with the same alternate logo on the shoulders, the numerals on the sleeves are presumed to be white with gold trim just like on the home jerseys, but in the greenish-gray portion of the sleeve, but it is unknown what color the numerals on the back will be,my guess is that they will be greenish-gray with gold trim. The sleeves are adorned with the greenish-gray,gold,and red colors. The waist has a gold stripe on top of a greenish-gray bar.
The pants look like they will be black or greenish-gray (the light on the picture below doesn’t give me the best idea) and will be worn with both the home and away jerseys, just like every other NHL club.
For a new club that is experimenting with a new but different color scheme and look, I think these look pretty sharp. I think Golden Knights fans will enjoy seeing these uniforms and hope that the players wearing them will excel on the ice a lot sooner than expected.
