Reviewing the Carl’s Jr. Turkey Burger

Well,it has been a little while since we’ve done a review for fast food. That’s in part to me wanting to eat better than I have been and thankfully Carl’s Jr. has offered something to bring me back to their eatery. They have introduced three new turkey burgers, in addition to the regular turkey burger, they also have them in the guacamole and the teriyaki varieties. I chose to just have the regular one, if you want to try the other ones, go for it.

I have had many turkey burgers before, some good, some not so much. This one is actually pretty good.  I like that it is on a wheat roll, I like the taste of it overall, and I even like the price at $2.99.

I think it is a great alternative for people like myself who are tired of feeling like they’re going to need a ride in an ambulance every time they go out to eat. At under 500 calories, the Carl’s Jr. Turkey Burger will make you want to come back again and again and I think if you like turkey and turkey related products, this is one you will want to try.

This definitely gets a…

Thumbs Up!

  1. I have to strongly disagree with T.J.’s review. My family and I go to a restaurant called Paul’s Place and I especially like their Turkey Avocado Burger. I tried Carl’s new guacamole turkey burger and found it totally flavorless and also the turkey was a bit dry. The guacamole was spicy which I don’t like nor do I care for my burger on a wheat bun. After choking down 2/3 of it, the rest went into the trash. I received two coupons for a free Coke Zero with my next purchase of any turkey burger. They also went in the trash. However, this is just my opinion and I say, to each his own.

    1. Pauls place? Central valley california? If it’s the same place I’m thinking I wasn’t aware they had a turkey burger. Interesting.

      1. It’s very possible. I’m in Orange County CA but I’m not sure whether it’s the same ownership. Paul got his start when he left Volcanoburger in cypress CA. Not sure if your’s is the same Paul. I’ll check it out the next time we go there, then I’ll get back to you.
