I must say that I’m very lucky and very blessed to have done this for as long as I have.

This site started in February of 2010 back when it was called All Things Orange and our first entry after the introduction was a review of The Carl’s Jr. Grilled Cheese Bacon Burger.

After that we did 998 entries on the blog ranging from many topics,not just sports. From television to music to politics at times to the things that need to go in the new year, so much has happened over the time I’ve been coming to you.

But now,I have some new challenges that lie ahead and I have an announcement that some of my friends already know,but it is one I would like to make here today. And since it’s my site,I will!

Sometime this year I will be starting my own podcast to compliment this site. A couple of reasons I wanted to do one were that I was already writing a lot of stuff on here and it’s been really exhausting. In 2017 I wrote the most entries out of any other year that we’ve been on the internet and by year’s end,I was both bored and exhausted at once.

Also,everybody has a podcast now. I feel like it is and has been time to do one for a couple of years now. Also, having been on a college radio show for two years and filling in from time to time on SportsTalk 916, it was something I’ve missed and it’s something I would love to do again.

I feel like it would be a lot of fun to do something like this and it might just give me as well as this site a rejuvenation of sorts. Viewership of this site has declined the last couple of years and even though it has I’m not shutting it down anytime soon, I just feel like it’s time to do other things as well as what I’m doing now.

I’m still in the planning and development stages of this, but I want to do this and have it be a lot of fun. I don’t know who I’m going to have on as a co-host quite yet,but I do want to have people on that know sports and that enjoy talking about them. I do know that I want it to be a weekly show.

So to everyone who has read my stuff since the beginning,I thank you. To everyone who is reading for the first time,I hope you keep reading. To everyone who hates me,keep on hating. To everyone looking forward to my podcast, I can’t wait to start it,it should be a great deal of fun.
